Professional Profile
Ms. Jenkins is the primary administrator responsible for the management, special projects and implementation of policies for the DC Education Licensure Commission. She advises the consumer protection body and the State Superintendent of Education on regulatory and compliance matters related to higher education and access to quality educational opportunities for DC residents. She has more than 10 years experience as a regulatory/consumer protection leader.
Ms. Jenkins has extensive private and public sector management, regulatory, and social work expertise. She has served on premier national and local committees and boards including: Council on Licensure Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR), Federation of Associations of Regulatory Boards (FARB), National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA), and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from George Mason University, a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University and certificates in Public Management from George Washington University and Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University. She is also a Certified Investigator.
Ms. Jenkins is a native Washingtonian who is committed to excellent services to everyone in the District.
