EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST (Part-Time)

Duties:
Review all IEP’s for clients in care; attend IEP meetings; Develop relationship with school liaisons, special Education Attorney at DCPS and foster parents (or biological family members); Maintains client records and monitors planned actions; Maintains educational operations and ensures legal compliance; Maintains and oversees mentoring and tutoring services; Participates as a member of the Bright Futures management team.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education or Social Work; Social Work Licensure (LGSW) a plus; 3 years of experience in the public and special education school systems.
