Did You Know?

Our Youth Development Department increased their outreach to nearly 1,000 families and children.

Our Mental Health Unit more than quadrupled the number of clients served in 2009. 

Last year, Family Matters received more than 1,000 calls from people in need. 97% were referred to Family Matters programs for assistance. The remaining 3% were referred to other community resources.

Senior volunteers in RSVP delivered 36,000 hours of their time to improving the greater Washington, DC community saving government agencies and nonprofit organziations more than $700,000 in salary expenses.

Last year 110 Washington, D.C. area seniors received counseling from Family Matters.
