Last year 110 Washington, D.C. area seniors received counseling from Family Matters.

17 local Alzheimer’s caregivers were given educational support and a break to relieve the stress of caring for a sick loved one through the Alzheimer’s Respite Program.

Last year, Family Matters received more than 1,000 calls from people in need. 97% were referred to Family Matters programs for assistance. The remaining 3% were referred to other community resources.
