Send a Kid to Camp
Washington Post “Send a Kid to Camp” Campaign
For decades, the Washington Post has brought stories of Camp Moss Hollow to their readers in the Washington area, and indeed, across the country. The support of the Washington Post has been invaluable to Family Matters of Greater Washington as they have raised millions of dollars to send children from the DC area to camp over the years.
Bob Levy first helped us tell our campers’ stories, and now, each summer John Kelly dedicates some of his columns to our annual Send a Kid to Camp campaign.
We are so grateful to the readers of the Washington Post. You have given so generously to support our camping program and allowed over 800 children to attend camp each summer for a week filled with fun, adventure, and excitement!
